The tickle monster strikes again!

Paul and Henry both LOVE to be tickled, and Henry loves it when his big brother tickles him even more.

Here Paulie is tickling Hen-ta-pete ( a silly nickname, don't ask. Paul came up with it.)
And in the other picture, the boys are being silly on the floor, lying side by side.

P.S. I'd like to give a "shout out" to my younger bro Tom, who is graduating from USM Law School this weekend!! Congrats, Thomas! We always knew that you could do it!
See you tomorrow!

Let's go to the farm!

The boys and I drove to Freeport yesterday to visit Wolfe's Neck Farm. The weather was absolutely perfect....sunny and about 72 degrees, NO BUGS, with a warm sea breeze. The farm is overlooking the Atlantic Ocean....beautiful!!! We also met our friends, Lori and Todd Marquis Boutin and their daughter Ellen (Colin, their son, was at school). Their niece Ashley came along too. We all had a great time and enjoyed looking at the month-old lambs, baby pigs, young calves and mother cows. There were also some chickens and roosters roaming free, and some caged baby chicks that were about 1-2 months old at least. One rooster in particular really liked Paul and stayed next to him for a while, chatting up a storm. Paul also found a toy tractor, that he thought should come home with us. (see the above pictures.....)
Have a great weekend everyone! Hope that it is sunny and warm where you are!!

Rough morning at Shaw's...

As you can tell from this picture, we wiped Henry out grocery shopping this morning (well, yesterday morning...I tried to post last night, but it wouldn't work). He fell asleep about 1/10 of a mile from the house, and just completely passed out. I brought him in the house, unloaded all the groceries, even put them away and he was still asleep. Paul asked, "Where is Henry?" I asked Paul if he could find him. That was pretty cute...watching Paul walk around trying to find him, and then he finally did, and wanted to wake Henry up. So, Paul gave him a kiss and a hug, and Henry slowly woke up. It was a nice Mommy moment for me. Then they played nicely while I made lunch....an almost too perfect setting.
Also, Happy Mother's Day to all those who are reading, that are mothers!! And have a great weekend!

My boys....

Last week was April vacation, and we had an awesome time. The weather was absolutely perfect, and it was sunny everyday. Of course, the boys wanted to go outside all the time, and especially since Daddy had fixed the sandbox for this year's fun.

Here are a couple of pictures from one sunny morning in the backyard. The boys and Daddy; Henry with his new sunglasses....Spiderman, of course. And a new hat that Mommy bought while visiting Shoba in Maryland. Paul is wearing his Portland Seadogs hat, and is excited to be going to his second game ever later this spring (in June). Will he still be afraid of the Trash Monsters, we will see.

Here they are playing in the sandbox...and the boys STILL have on their hats and sunglasses. A minor miracle in the world of children, as any mom can atest. Don't worry grandparents, they are wearing sunblock, hats, sunglasses, and playing under an umbrella. Safe and sound!!

Have a great weekend everyone!! Summer is right around the corner. We are planting our garden next weekend. I think that we should be safe from any snowstorms at that point. We hope!!
