It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

We went tree shopping yesterday and found a wonderful 7 foot Maine pine tree recently cut out of a tree farm in Skowhegan, Maine. We decorated it yesterday (pictures of the finished tree later this week...) The boys enjoyed looking for a tree and luckily, it was a nice "warm" Maine winter day for us to be outside (25-30 degrees).
The tree is all set, and ready to arrive at 8 Fern Street......
This past weekend we had a family movie night, and the FIRST one for Henry. We bought Wall-E because we figured that we would watch it again, and again (instead of renting it). Above, Henry is picking out his candy...Reese's, kitkat or kisses...choices, choices!! He also had some popcorn and juice with the movie.

Here the boys are in the couch, getting ready for THE SHOW!!!!

After watching Wall-E, the boys "camped out" on the living room floor, with Hoosier as their electric blanket. She LOVES sleeping with them.

This last photo, is after playing in the snow, on Dec, 9th. OUR FIRST SNOW DAY!!! Wonder how many we will have this year?? I am betting on 5.....Bri, how many do you think?? David didn't go out in the snow, because we had just gotten back from the doctor's....his first ear infection. He has been on antibiotics for 6 days, and is feeling better.

New happenings at 8 Fern Street

I have taken some new pictures lately, and here is what has been going on with us the past few weeks. Above is the train track that Henry built ALLLLLLL by himself!! He made this when I was at Paul's school volunteering, and Nini was babysitting the 2 younger boys.

Paul made a turkey for Thanksgiving at school this fall, and below is his costume for a Native American...that is the one that he picked to be at the "feast" (that he missed b/c he was sick).

David-o!!! One year old and he thinks he can act like he is three.... ; )
Walking, trying to talk....keeping up with his older brothers....eating like a horse!
The boy can really put some chicken and pasta AWAY!!

A quiet moment...of brotherly love......

We got our first snowfall on Saturday night, and you would have thought that it was Christmas morning in our house on Sunday, with the way the boys were reacting. It was really cute! They COULD NOT wait to get outside and play!!

Sliding down the small hill next door....

Climbing up Mrs' Goff's hill next door....she loves it when the boys play out there.
The best neighbor anyone could ask for!!
The countdown has begun...Grandma Jane and Papa Jon will be here in 3 weeks!!!
We can't wait!! Happy Monday everyone!
