It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

We went tree shopping yesterday and found a wonderful 7 foot Maine pine tree recently cut out of a tree farm in Skowhegan, Maine. We decorated it yesterday (pictures of the finished tree later this week...) The boys enjoyed looking for a tree and luckily, it was a nice "warm" Maine winter day for us to be outside (25-30 degrees).
The tree is all set, and ready to arrive at 8 Fern Street......
This past weekend we had a family movie night, and the FIRST one for Henry. We bought Wall-E because we figured that we would watch it again, and again (instead of renting it). Above, Henry is picking out his candy...Reese's, kitkat or kisses...choices, choices!! He also had some popcorn and juice with the movie.

Here the boys are in the couch, getting ready for THE SHOW!!!!

After watching Wall-E, the boys "camped out" on the living room floor, with Hoosier as their electric blanket. She LOVES sleeping with them.

This last photo, is after playing in the snow, on Dec, 9th. OUR FIRST SNOW DAY!!! Wonder how many we will have this year?? I am betting on 5.....Bri, how many do you think?? David didn't go out in the snow, because we had just gotten back from the doctor's....his first ear infection. He has been on antibiotics for 6 days, and is feeling better.

New happenings at 8 Fern Street

I have taken some new pictures lately, and here is what has been going on with us the past few weeks. Above is the train track that Henry built ALLLLLLL by himself!! He made this when I was at Paul's school volunteering, and Nini was babysitting the 2 younger boys.

Paul made a turkey for Thanksgiving at school this fall, and below is his costume for a Native American...that is the one that he picked to be at the "feast" (that he missed b/c he was sick).

David-o!!! One year old and he thinks he can act like he is three.... ; )
Walking, trying to talk....keeping up with his older brothers....eating like a horse!
The boy can really put some chicken and pasta AWAY!!

A quiet moment...of brotherly love......

We got our first snowfall on Saturday night, and you would have thought that it was Christmas morning in our house on Sunday, with the way the boys were reacting. It was really cute! They COULD NOT wait to get outside and play!!

Sliding down the small hill next door....

Climbing up Mrs' Goff's hill next door....she loves it when the boys play out there.
The best neighbor anyone could ask for!!
The countdown has begun...Grandma Jane and Papa Jon will be here in 3 weeks!!!
We can't wait!! Happy Monday everyone!

doing better.....

Hey there everyone! It has been a crazy 3 weeks, and sorry I haven't been on here at all. But I think that people are finally all feeling better (although, I just felt Paul's forehead and it felt warm....arugh!!)

Here are some new photos from the past month or so.....

The boys don't usually watch tv like this, just so you know...... : )

Paul posing with David's new wooden bi-plane from Uncle Tom and Aunt Emily.

Henry likes to fix his own hair, and here he is spraying it with water first, and then he combed it back, like Pat Riley...."ALL BY MYSELF!!!"

Nice going, Slick!!

Here David is wearing his newest bib from Uncle Ben and Aunt Katie.....miss them!!

the newest photo of David from this morning.........GAME TIME!
BEAT THOSE COLTS today...........8pm....mommy and daddy are going to be tired tomorrow.
Miss and love you all!!

Pumpkinland, FINALLY!!!

Paul and I finally went together with his class to Pumpkinland, in Mechanic Falls, ME on Thursday of this week. It was our third time trying to go, because we had 2 previous rain dates (the kids were beginning to get really disappointed).

Soooooo....here are some pictures of our day!! Above, Paul and the other kids are picking out their pumpkins. Of course, Paul's was a "perfect" pumpkin without any bumps, dirt, or marks of any kind and was perfectly shaped and the stem was perfect too....he is a cutie!!

Paul on the FrankenSlide.......

Paul with the Woodhoe. I think that he would have been on this all day long if he had the chance. ; )

Paul, smiling away for mommy!

Paulie in the ball bounce zone....(or as mommy likes to call it, "an accident waiting to happen!")

Paul and some of his classmates!

Paul and his buddies playing with the wooden eggs....rolling them up the chutes, into the holes.

Paul with his latest art project ( the leaf behind him) the morning before we left for school. The kids all wear special shirts so we know who is from the same school. A GREAT idea, I think!!
It was a wonderful day, and I had so much fun! At the end, Paul told me, "Mommy, aren't you glad that I invited you!?" It was a sweet moment. I love that guy!! : )

Beantown, baby!!

Columbus Day weekend, we (minus David...he stayed with my mom) traveled to Boston to visit (Uncle) John and spending some time at the Boston Children's Museum. We had a great time, and here are some of the things that the boys did at the museum!!

Paulie pulled himself up, with a little help from Daddy-o!

Paulie, at Johnny's Workbench, a great handy man!

the boys at the Peep's World stream, playing in the water... lots of fun!
