Birthdays in 'Da House this week!.....and Happy Halloween today!!

Happy Halloween!! The boys are very excited that today is finally here so they can get dressed up, and go trick or treating this afternoon/evening. They have been looking forward to it for about a month, I think. As soon as it became October.... : )

We had a great time carving our pumpkins that we picked out when Grandma and Papa where here a couple of weeks ago. We bought them at Farmer Whiting's...our favorite local farmer. The finished products can be seen above.....

David and Henry both had their birthdays last week....they are now FOUR and TWO years old. Yikes....I can't believe that I have three children, and they are now 6, 4, and 2. WOW!! It seems like just yesterday, I was saying that my boys are "4, 2, and new!!" : )

We sure did have a wonderful week celebrating their birthdays on the actual dates. All of these celebrations really make me realize how special my family is, and how fun I am having with these little boys. They are truly a blessing in my life, and I love them so much!!

Paul's 6th Birthday parties.....

Paul turned 6 years old this week, and we were able to celebrate multiple times with his friends and our family. On Wednesday, we had a family party, with Nini, and here is the cake that I baked and Brian decorated. Paul wanted a battle scene on the cake, of a T-Rex and an anklyosaurus. : )Blowing out his candles.....

On Sunday, we had the first friend's party for any of the boys. Paul was very excited to invite 3 of his best buddies, who all happen to live in the neighborhood too (within walking distance), and are all in the same class at school.

And below, the kids are getting ready to complete their projects before eating some yummy Pizza Hut pizza and bread sticks. They also got to choose their own sodas to drink, which was a special treat for Paul. He very rarely has soda. : )

The kids are busy with their projects......It was a very fun party, and I think that all the kids had a great time. The moms did too.....sit and relax with some water and pizza for an hour or so. A break from the normal craziness that we all experience everyday!
