Baby burrito

David LOVES his blankets....so much so, that he rolled right over and tucked himself like a burrito in this green frog blanket (that Mrs. Appleby made for Paul!!). Henry watches from behind, while he is playing with the marble run set.

Paul noticed that the camera was out, and came right over to pose with his baby bro!

Like I said, David loves his blankets. This one was also made by Mrs. Appleby for Paul. David likes to suck his right thumb and throw his right pointer finger over his nose, while he holds onto a blanket with his remaining three fingers.....I think that it is the cutest thing (of course, because I am his mother, and because neither Paul nor Henry did anything like this.

Here David is thinking, "Why did you disturb me, Daddy, by taking that picture?"

Is this the face of a future card shark?

Here Henry is playing Go Fish, a card game that Uncle John gave to the boys for Christmas. Henry loves to play games, and also plays Chutes and Ladders, and Cootie, and LOVES puzzles!! I am glad that I have kids that like to play games as much as I do!!

When is a good time to teach them how to play Pitch!!??

Memorial Day Party 2009

We had our 8th annual Memorial Day party at 8 Fern Street yesterday, and here are some of the pictures I was able to take (or my mom took), in between all the chaos of entertaining and feeding 11 adults and 11 kids. It was A LOT of fun!!

David's new teeth.......the better to eat sweet potatoes with......

Henry Dimitri and Hannah Mogul, playing in the sandbox......They are only 7 days apart in age. And look like they could be twins, with the blonde hair and blue eyes.

Jack Tetreault brought his riding John Deere tractor to the party and instantly became popular with all the boys. Here Paul is driving around the backyard. (don't worry they are wearing seatbelts.)

Here Jack, Paul and Henry are enjoying a fine dinner of cheeseburgers, hot dogs and all the sides, with a tall glass of skim milk!!

Lastly, we have the boys posing in the backyard with Jack's tractor. I was barely given enough time to take this picture....those boys are QUICK!! From left to right, we have Mack Sampson(6yrs old), Paul Dimitri(4), Will Sampson(4), Henry Dimitri(2), and Jack Tetreault(3).

Paul and Henry just finished making their newest Lego spaceships. They even tell you the names of them, if you listen at the end. The launch was set for 9:45 AM and all went well, as you can see by watching the video. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!!!

David....6 months old!!

David Carl Dimitri is now (as of April 27th) 6 months old!! His peditrician told us that when his children turned 6 months old, they liked to celebrate with 1/2 a cake, because they had made it through one of the toughest times.....the first 6 months of a baby's life (instead of waiting until they were 1 year old). I love that idea, and celebrated with a beer instead!! Maybe I will make a cake later this week..... ; )
