Almost 11 months old.....

I can't believe that this little guys is almost 11 months old....where does the time go?

Things are great here in Maine. We are enjoying a MONTH long stretch of sunny days that I think may end on Sunday (ironically enough). We are loving it and are getting excited about celebrating Paul's 5th birthday this Saturday with the fam'. Pictures to follow next week!

BenKat invade MAINE.....

Happy Friday!! Brian's little bro Ben and his wife Katie made it all the way out to Maine this past weekend. We had such a wonderful time. They had not yet met David and so that was very special and I think that we may have given Katie a slight case of baby fever.....in a year or 2 or 3??? Above, we are picking apples at Wallingford's Orchards.....boy, did everyone enjoy those fresh donuts, too....ooohhhh!!

Ben, Katie and Uncle John were trying to figure out if the world maps painted on the ground were accurate! Pretty funny....then, trying to decide where in the world they would like to live!

All in all, it was a wonderful trip! Thanks to Ben and Katie for driving all the way out here, and to Uncle John too, for joining us! The boys loved seeing you three....very special family that we have. We are very blessed..... : )

L-A's 17th Annual Balloon Festival (2009)

I realized that I haven't posted a long time....sorry about that folks. It is busy here!!

These pictures are from August 21-23, but I thought that they would still be fun to look at.

Above is one of my favorite balloons that launches every year.

This year's theme was something about Under the Sea....hence, NEMO!

Here the boys pose next to a monster firetruck!! Paul wanted to know why he couldn't climb and play in it.....why the yellow tape mommy??

Check out the pointer on that baby.....He LOVES to point and really used his pointer at the launch that morning.....pointing at all of the balloons. They floated right over us....it was GREAT!!

Here one of the balloons is trying to dunk in the river. I think that this balloon actually did make it in the water.

I think that Henry has his eyes on a balloon off in the distance....can't look at mommy! : )
