Henry or David????

Here they are at the same age, and I thought that it would be fun to post similar poses, so I can get everyone's thoughts......They look a little alike?? Right?

We are enjoying Feb break here, and hoping that the boys get over their Nth cold of the winter. Poor Henry has had a fever since Thursday, but I think that this should be the last day of it. Otherwise, we are going to the doc's tomorrow.

David loves tummy time, and I bet will be rolling over at some point in the next few months! He is still only nursing, and will be for the next few months, until he is 6 months old (on April 27th). Then, maybe some rice cereal.....or steak, just kidding!!

Here is one more of the older boys.....the Blues Brothers!!

My Three Sons....do do do....

I have to give credit to Bri for taking this picture, and it only took about 6 to get this one. Not too bad....with three subjects like this. : ) We had a great birthday weekend with Brian (and Happy Birthday to Papa Jon) and Uncle John was here too....he came to Auburn for the weekend! Uncle Tom and Aunt Emily made an appearance as well on Saturday.
Things are going well here. We are getting excited about February vacation which starts this Saturday and lasts for a week! So exciting!! We have a few things planned, but will mostly just relax and enjoy each other's company. It is always nice to have extra help during the day!!
Glad to report nothing else.....boring is definitely good sometimes!!!

David is 3 months old (ok, last week....)

David turned 3 months old last week, but for some reason (all you moms out there can think of some of them...), I haven't be able to post new pictures or blog about him either. So, here I am a week late (and more than a few dollars short...) ANYWAY.....

things are going well in the Dimitri household. David is growing and growing and Henry's vocabulary is growing almost as quickly. It is truly wonderful to listen to Henry's new words every day. I love listening to him try and figure out new words and he is doing such a great job with it all. In a few months, I probably won't be able to shut him up. ; )

Paul is loving school and his new obsession is STAR WARS! Gee, thanks Brian!! Paul cannot wait until he turns 5 so he can "watch the New Hope!" He talks about it daily, almost hourly....and sings the instrumental score from the films, asks what part each piece of music is form, and thinks that I should watch the movies more so I can give him better answers. It is all pretty funny I guess.....

So, Happy February to everyone! It is always an accomplishment to make it to February as a Mainer, I think....spring is just around the corner, right???

Happy Birthday to Brian (the 5th) and "Papa" Jon (7th) and Robert Bliss (1st), and Happy Anniversary to Berk and James (11th)!!!

David's first basketball game!

Last night, the FIVE of us went to see the Edward Little boys' varsity basketball game, against the Bangor Rams. Never mind that it took us 45 minutes to get everyone ready, dressed, things packed, etc....but we made it to the school for the end of the JV game, and watched it go into overtime. Then, after some time, the varsity team took the floor with the required rap warm-up music, that Paul thought was too loud. Henry liked it though, and David slept through it. David actually slept through the first hour or so that we were there. Then, I decided that I should take him out of the car seat and let him enjoy some of the game. That woke him up!! He enjoyed every minute of it, and never cried or fussed even a second. Henry was the only squirrelly one (big surprise!) and everyone had a great time. Mommy and Paul made a stop at the concessions and bought a water, plain M & M's and some popcorn (which Henry LOVED!!)...see below.

We all had a great time, and decided to leave at halftime. It was 8 o'clock, and we all thought that we had better get home and get the boys to bed. (the Eddies ended up winning and have beaten Bangor TWICE this year!!)

Is that thing broken?

Nope...it was actually warming up when I took this picture. I wanted to take one when we woke up, but had to take care of business with the boys, and get Paul off to school, etc.... So, by the time that I took the picture, it was warmer. But it was -24 F earlier this morning! HELLOO!! I live in Maine, not Antarctica!!??? At least, that it was I thought. Oh, well. It is suppose to WARM up this weekend to the 20's. At least it will be above 0.

Here are a couple of new pics to warm your hearts, since it is sooooo cold! In the first one, Paul and Henry are putting out some "fires" in the kitchen, in their firefighter gear from Uncle John. But where's the axe? (Thanks for that one, John!! Wait until you have kids!!)

Here is David chillin' with the "Hoosier-meister" on the floor. He is all business...no smiles in this photo. But he is quite the smiliey baby!! We think that we will keep him. ; )

Hope you all stay warm and keep in touch! Have a great weekend!!

11 weeks?

Has it been 11 weeks? I can't remember? I think that is right, but don't have the time to count on the calendar. ; )

Things are going well here. Life is still crazy here, and I am wondering if it will ever slow down. Probably not, but that's what I signed up for, right?? The boys are almost over their colds, but now the parents are sick (I fought it as long as I could....). We have a 3-day weekend coming up and Mommy has BUNCO on Friday night! YIPPEE!! We are in the middle of the coldest air of the winter, and the lows are going to be BELOW zero....super!! Glad that we have heat and nice house to stay inside.

Bri's b-day is fast approaching, as is Papa's too.....wonder what they want? Ok, enough babbling. I am sure that there is something that I am supposed to be doing....laundry, dishes, vacuuming, nurse a baby??? Hope you are all well! Miss and love you!!
