Mom, Paul, Henry and I enjoyed some fun in the sun recently in good, ole Freeport, Maine. First we traveled to Wolfe's Neck Farm for a while, and visited Paul's favorite rooster (see the May 15th posting). Had a snack and enjoyed a nice walk by the ocean. The tide was out and we saw some egrets feeding on the mud flats. It was picturesque.
Then, we rode over to the Harraseeket Restaurant (http://www.freeportusa.com/freeportmember081.html) for some fresh haddock sandwiches (the best I have ever had!) with french fries (the boys had grilled cheese and juice). What a gorgeous June day in Maine it was. Just perfect...75 degrees and sunny, and no humidity, just the way I like it. In the picture above, Henry is ready for his sandwich, and trying to escape, but you can see the town wharf behind them. It was beautiful!!
Brian is almost out of school......7 more days, but how is counting?
