last day of Pre K....where does the time go?

It seems like just yesterday that Paul was going to his FIRST day of pre-K, and now look, the year is over. Hard for me to believe. He has grown in so many ways over the past year, and his dad and I are SOOOO proud of him! This picture is of Paul doing his art walk. We picked up all of his recent art projects that were displayed in the hallway.

On his first day of summer vacation (today), he woke up telling me that he wanted to play school, and promptly got out his clip-on tie. Was he born to the right mother, or what?? Playing school, yippee!! He also told me this morning at breakfast, "Mom! I am a kindergartener now!"

Here Paul is singing and acting out a song about a kite at the pre K celebration performance.

Here he is singing the song "Hi, my name is Joe" I work in a button factory....remember that one from the bonfire, Marczak family??!! He is using his tongue to turn the button, along with his hands and everything else.....

This is a picture of one of Paul's best friends from preK...Jacob.

Here Paul is receiving his completion certificate and shaking his teacher's hand (Mrs Finnegan), and Mrs Bureau (his other teacher) is right next to her. The rest of the class is sitting on the floor ("on their squares").

Here he is singing the song, "Clap my crazies out". I think that I may have to learn this song. It was pretty funny, and Paul especially loved the jumping part (with his new sneaks) ! Can't wait to see what the next year of school brings....READING, I think!!
