Here in Maine, we haven't had much for summer weather, thus we had not been to the beach. It was the 5th wettest June on record, since 1871, and we only had 2 fully sunny days!! But finally on July 10th!!! we went to Pine Point, our favorite spot on the Atlantic Ocean (where the whale sharks live, as Paul tells me).It was the PERFECT day; warm, a nice breeze, and the water was great too.
The boys had a awesome time. David wasn't too sure about the water, but he definitely took everything in, and watched his older brothers in the water, and playing in the sand. David also indulged in one life's simple and GREAT pleasures, a beach nap (in his mommy's arms). : )

We can't wait to go back again! Until then, we will have to "settle" ; ) for trips to the beaches at Lake Michigan and Lake Ontario....aren't we LUCKY!!!!
